My path to interior design hasn’t been linear—but in many ways, it’s always been unfolding. In my early twenties, I nearly pursued formal design training but instead chose a different adventure. I spent several years working as a chief stewardess on charter yachts, splitting my time between the wild beauty of Alaska and the sun-soaked shores off the Baja. Life onboard taught me so much—about hospitality, meticulous attention to detail, and the profound impact of thoughtfully designed spaces, no matter how small or transient. For over 15 years, I built a career in hospitality—bartending, serving, even managing and curating custom cocktail menus. I’ve worked everywhere from fine dining restaurants to neighborhood pubs. Those years weren’t just about service; they were about connection. Working closely with people from all walks of life and cultures deepened my empathy, sharpened my intuition, and taught me how environments influence the way we gather, connect, and feel. It was motherhood that ultimately led me back to design—with a renewed sense of purpose and the clarity to finally follow my intuitive passions. Today, my work is rooted in the belief that our spaces are living reflections of who we are. I approach each project with curiosity and care, blending function with beauty to create spaces that feel deeply personal, grounding, and quietly inspiring.
